Intel
Research & Design. Management.

I joined Intel Design & System Engineering Team in 2015 as Senior User Experience Designer, recently moved to a Manager role in January 2016. The team is responsible to identify new opportunities to unlock the potential of Intel within trending technologies such as drones, robots, open source software, autonomous machines and Internet of things.

Our main effort is focused on connecting R&D with product development working within an Agile environment and finding faster ways to market for different products. This involves collaborating with different parts of the business, such as product owners and engineers and manufacturers, making sure that design and engineering always equally influence every stage of product development.

Day in day out work involves User Research, Design Research, leading workshops with different stakeholders and teams at different stages of a project, all the way to UX Design, User Testing and Physical prototyping, with a view of outputting meaningful Design Recommendations for different teams within Intel.

I am currently managing a team of 7 Designers with different seniority and focus, based in London, New Zealand and Portland.
